Need Help On Direct Mail

I have something for those of you who use direct mail for B2B lead generation. what are your opinions on mail that comes around the holidays? Are your response rates the same, decrease or do you approach to not have mail campaigns provided around those times?

I think it mostly depends on what you are offering.

For example, if you have a travel agency, you are more likely to get a better response if you use direct mail during the Christmas and New Years, when people are more likely to travel and businesses are on a lookout for opportunities to cash in on it.

Well, the thing is I hate working on holidays or weekends. If I take casual leave or medical leave thats totally different. I don't even response to those mails although their offers are alluring.
