Is yelp reviews that much powerful?

One of my clients business got 3 negative reviews and he is so worried about those reviews. He asked me to write some positive reviews so that he could save his business. So I have started writing reviews for him but while writing reviews this question peeped up in my mind that how many people reads yelp review and from 3 negative will my client's business be lost. I don't think so.

What do you guys think about this issue. Can anyone loose his business just for 3 negative yelp review?
