Is C++ the best programming language?

Some coding languages were composed for a particular reason. Java was initially formulated to control toasters, C for programming Operating Systems, Pascal to show great programming systems yet C++ is a universally useful dialect and well merits the "Swiss Pocket Knife of Languages" moniker.
