Why should we study? To fit in favorably with the prevailing way of society, to be "on the same wavelength" with it, to successfully adapt and engage in useful activities. People communicate thanks to a similar worldview, mentality and consciousness.
In this regard, the following functions of education can be distinguished:
educational-instilling moral values, cultural and historical experience and rules of behavior in an individual;
educational — actual training;
socialization – entering a society and successfully staying in it;
training of professionals who will work for the good of the country and improve the quality of life.

Economic — the state needs competent specialists who can cover the needs of labor resources in all areas of the economy. Without trained personnel, the economy will wither.
Social — the country needs people who can work in a team and get along well with each other. Without socialization (what is it?) there's no way around it. It begins in the family, but continues at school and other educational institutions.
Cultural — the transfer to the future generation of all accumulated over the centuries of culture, experience, traditions and worldviews. Without knowing the past, it is impossible to build the future.
