How do I get technical jobs in UAE?

One advice that I will always give to find a job in UAE regardless if it’s technical or not, is to have connections. 90% of the people I know have been hired through connections. With the state of the economy and downsizing of HR departments, a connection bringing in a candidate is so much easier than going through the whole recruitment process. Focus on making connections that will refer you to be hired.
I also noticed that even technical jobs these days are being taken by people that stand out from the crowd and have great social skills and personalities. Therefore, I would recommend you focus on standing out from the crowd.

It seems to me that large companies are hiring outsourcing recruitment agencies to find candidates for multilingual jobs. I have come across such job offers several times and interviews in one of these companies will be quite difficult, but usually such vacancies have high salaries and favorable social conditions.You can find more about this in job offers and on special portals where people discuss companies where or have worked / are working.
