I have found out recently that an ex so called frinds has been spreading roumours about me around the school where our children go and can now understand why all the snide remarks and dirty looks.
We fell out around easter this year and havent spoken since, but even this morning when I got out of the car she was standing there with another mom whispering and sniggering and I'm sick to death of it.
I've had 7 months of looks, remarks and moms making excuses why my son cant go to theirs to play or their sons coming to mine. I've been treathened by another mom because of what she told her and I can't take anymore of this nonsence.
She's been telling all that will listen that I had an affair with some guy I used to chat to, that I'm an alcoholic, my kids are negelcted and I'm never there for my husband as I'm either out messing around or too drunk to care.
She even accused me of complaining to the school about her and said thats why she didnt get a job there but when I confronted her about it and suggested going to see the head she had 101 excuses why not to.
Things I cried on her shoulders about and told her in confidence is now common knowledge.
I know I should just hold my head high and ignore them but after 7 months it gets a little harder.
I would like to know what my legal rights are, or what could I do to finally put an end to this.
