You ever call a business with out know the business owners name… ☺
We are human it happens...I’ve done this several times and the technique works.
It’s mental/verbal strategy I use to target local businesses. I position myself
In a way where the gate keeper (he or she) ends up telling me the boss’s name. And so I end up speaking to the (Guy that runs the show ☺).
So here is how I start it off…
Hey there is your boss around? Hmm…(Stay silent)
(Gatekeeper says) oh….you mean (Frank) “The owner?”
I say: Yes! …there ya go! Frank is he available…
Gate keeper says: Did you have an appointment with him or something?...
Pick up the speed in your voice here....
I say: Cough…(silently) what time was it oh yea! 3:32! Yes yes.. (but you have to say this part fast)…I gotta run is he there?...
Gate keeper says: ok 1 moment..
Boom! I’m now talking to the business owner and I’m now scheduling sometime to sit down with him for some tea in mid town Manhattan ☺
This isn’t a scheme technique, but it’s a sales method I use to get through
With the business owners all the time.
