Offline marketing techniques for affiliates?

Is anyone here an affiliate of a product/service etc. that you market offline? If that is so, in what strategies and what techniques do you use market the offer and generate traffic to your website? As example, flyers on bulletin boards in a crowed place is one thing that can help me to do this. What else is there and what kind of positive results have you had in offline marketing?

Approximately 6 months ago I was working for EWA network's affiliate. They told me to market their products through both online and offline. But as I am not so expert in marketing so I market their offers through forum posts and social networks.

Now I am researching on Amazon affiliate and I am targeting to sell their products using offline marketing strategy. I hope I will be successful cause now I am a member of an offline marketing forum, where I can get help from a bunch of offline experts.

I am totally agree with you Alan. I also think that for affiliates offline marketing are great ways of selling their products. What kind of offline marketing methods will you use for selling your products? Please share your ideas and thoughts about it.

Online marketing is using social media platforms is really good to reach to the new customers and to stay connected with all. Making a good website, creating an interactive blog for it, updating the contents on it is really important. A good designing agency can help you in this task.

Few proven offline marketing techniques are advertising on local radio, car wraps, attending business events/expos, distributing business cards/flyers/brochures, publishing advertises in popular magazines etc. These are traditional offline marketing methods, but still they are effective.

I have seen that many companies publish a magazine monthly or bi-monthly. And it can be really useful to generate the new customers from local market. This type of offline marketing can be useful to generate the awareness about your business among the people.
