How do you push down yelp reviews?

Hey guys!,

So with reputation management we all know 85% of the time it has to do with yelp
not wanting to remove reviews or they will ask for big bucks for the reviews to be removed.
To me that comes of as a scam and puts business in jeopardy. So what are you guys doing
to push down yelp listings/reviews or suggest?

Guillermo-

I read an article several months ago that the best way to offset a bad comment...Push it down with a lot of good ones. Correct what the problem was and use an incentive to get people to leave positive comments.

Theoretically correct. If you need help in this area I can help you set up a system with all the bells and whistles that makes a customer think twice before writing another one. Let me know if you are interested.

Another easy one is - encourage your customers to start using Google+ w/copies of the good reviews on Facebook, Twitter, linkedIn, etc.

I definitely agree with you having clients use google +, linkedin, Twitter over yelp.
The problem is most of the time they already have a YELP account set-up.

Well what is a shame is a business can do this. What is worse when people take advantage of a bad situation and is not right in my opinion. Most business work hard at keeping their business clean that a bad review should not be used to take them down.

If you have got some negative reviews then you can easily bury the negative reviews with the positive ones by motivating your pleased customers to write positive reviews for your company and nearing famous bloggers for posting your articles and this may identify a strong online existence of yours.

Moreover, you can take the subsequent steps to get Yelp pushed down the search page:

Get the pages of your website indexed (as like About, Products, Services, etc.)
Set up a Facebook business page of your company
Set up a Twitter Account and post on it.
Set up a Superpages.com profile for your company
Set up a LinkedIn profile
Set up a YouTube account and post videos about your business on it.
Set up an InsiderPages.com profile for your business and so on.

All of these factors should drive the Yelp listing down the page, so it doesn't show up in the top search.

One thing is to get the customers to write the reviews while they are there that way it not forgotten. Most people are so business that then they leave that it it is forgot about unless they that upset then it sticks in their mind
