Hello mates,

I have joined OMF to learn each and every tips and tricks of Offline Marketing. Surfing this forum for couple of days I have come to know that Cold Calling is a very powerful marketing technique from here: http://offlinemarketingforum.com/cold-calling/384-cold-calling.html. I have realized that without having a very good conversation with prospected clients its impossible to make them to buy from you.

To have a good conversation we need some killer scripts for sure. So I was just wondering that if anyone from OMF can share some killer scripts so that we could have good conversation at first call.

oh, I was about to open a thread under this title but suddenly saw that Mehul has already opened a thread. Anyways nothing to worry about.

Basically there are not any fixed scripts for cold calling. Scripts always changes based on product you are selling and situation of calling. Now I am going to provide you a sample script. This script can bypass anyone who receives calls except business owner. Assume that you are a website designer and wanted t design a website for any business. The script begins from below:

Hi,
This is Alanmark calling, how are you?

{After getting reply from other side}

That's great...........
Am I perhaps speaking with Daven Michaels (business owner's name), the owner of 123 Employee (Business name)?

{After getting reply from other side}

If you are not so lucky to get to business owner at first time then just say "Can I have Daven Michaels (business owner's name) on phone, please?"

Otherwise just say,
Oh great, the reason why I called is that you have your business listed under Google places, is that right?

{After getting reply from other side}

Excellent. I'm calling to find out because I see that you do not have a Professional website associated with your listing, I guess, is that correct sir?

{After getting reply from other side}

Ok, the reason for my call is to let you know that we are a web design agency that has worked with businesses in your industry for the past 3 years, building websites and getting you more business online thru being found on Google.

Great script there, Alan. I think it will do the job. If the gate keeper isn't so strict then your script might not work!!! :suicide2:

Hello Alan,
Your Cold Calling script is really awesome. I like it so much for making a successful cold calling. In this case I just want to share some tips on Cold Calling script writing.
1. You should stop asking, “How are you today?
2. You should stop talking at your prospect and instead ask a question so you can connect early on.
3. You should listen and think before You Respond Next.
4. You need to be sure that you have a list of questions to ask your prospect so you can gather all the information you’ll need to fully qualify or disqualify them.
5. You need to make an exact appointment time to get back with your prospect.

I will write details about these points in another post. What do you think about these points??
