Hi, I want to start blogging with free server and for that I want to know which is better among blogger and WordPress. Please give your valuable suggestions here. :cool:

I like Wordpress more. It's very easy to use and it has more good reviews than Blogger.

Hello yukon, I am now explaining some Pros and Cons of WordPress and Blogger. Hope this will help you to pick the best free CMS you need.

Control:
1) The things you can do on your blogspot blog are limited, and there is no way you can extend them to meet a need.
2) WordPress is an open source software, so you can easily extend it to add new features.

Appearance:
1) Blogger by default only provides a limited set of templates to use. You can modify the colors and layout of these templates using the built-in tools, but you cannot create your own layouts or make modifications.
2) There are thousands of free and premium WordPress themes which allow you to create professional looking websites. There is a WordPress theme for just about every kind of website.

Portability:
1) Moving your site from Blogger to a different platform is a complicated task.
2) Using WordPress, you can move your site anywhere you want. You can move your WordPress site to a new host, change domain name, or even move your site to other content management systems.

Security:
1) Using Blogger you have the added advantage of Google’s robust secure platform.
2) WordPress is quite secure, but since it is a self hosted solution you are responsible for security and backups.

WordPress is the best . I have been using it for 4 years and I am very satisfied that it provide opportunity to build your personal web site in quick and easy way .WordPress allows you to do many more things such as preview themes, convert categories to tags and add custom CSS to menus. Beginners, in particular, will gain by taking time to explore these hidden WordPress options. I am using WordPress for my site. You can find a lot of Themes and plugins for WordPress. These plugins will add a lot more features to your website. I own a car dealership and I have my custom made website. I can afford it so why not have one. It doesn't matter what job or business you have, you can always find something customs for you. Just look at these demos for car dealer wordpress theme. Every demo is unique and has its own features. WordPress is a lot better than Blogger. WordPress gives you freedom of choice. With blogger, you are stuck with ugly interfaces. Plus, if you use WordPress, people will think that you have a lot of money.
