Took a long time but we finally got one!!!

I've been using these red envelopes for sometime "LOCALLY". And they get me responses almost all the time. I'm not sure its because they come of (personal) or maybe it just stands out rite away? Does it put the recipient in psychological state of excitement? thoughts??

...either way I say give them a shot :)

Just fyi you can buy these types of envelopes anywhere:

OfficeDepot
Amazon
Staples

I found that its always key to be as creative as possible. I've used stickers on the front end of the envelopes, stamps (that say confidential), Priority labels etc. Get creative. <----

But compare the "psychology behind" opening one of my red notes vs one of these.....
I personally feel there not leaving room for me to get the spark of immediate interest.

Red is the color of warning and action (red alerts, red traffic lights and code reds.) That is why you get such a high open rate and even an action rate from mailing out in the red envelopes. Plus it makes you stand out from the rest. That is what is so great about using the red envelopes. I just didn't know you could get the envelopes in so many places so I will have to keep my eyes open for them from now on to help advertise my business.

If I had received a bunch of mail and one of them was a red envelope. That probably be one of the first ones I will open, so this is a good marketing idea

Ah I see yea that could be the reason. And I'm with you 100% standing outside of the pack is key!. Yea you could find those envelopes any where. I would definitely pick up a couple ;)

Yep thats what I said! :) Im thinking of testing a different color which one do you think it should be?

I have done this in the past. Why I don't still do it I have no idea. It does work great. I think one of the reasons it works is because it looks almost like a special card. Birthday or anniversary, I always hand addressed it. It definitely gets open. Thanks for he reminder of something that works. :)

Very well said, cause anyone will go for the red one first.

Awesome idea, G for sure but don't make that as your permanent strategy. Its good for first shot but will not work for all the time.
