    Where do you market? NINE places for you to meet your audience

    Lately I've been putting a 5-part Business Newbie Guide together. This weekend's was part 4: Where to Market.

    Your target audience is out there. So how do you get in front of them? Seems sensible to go meet them where they are already gathering, doesn't it?

    This idea is missed by a lot of newbies, who believe simply putting up a web page with an opt-in form is going to do the trick.

    Nope.

    That's about as useful as a billboard in the desert.

    And you don't need cold, unqualified traffic. I've paid for exactly one solo ad blast in my life and the results were without value.

    No...let's go where a qualified audience is already assembling.

    And then let's talk to them.

    This has been the NUMBER ONE WAY I draw qualified traffic to my sites and offers.

    I remember in December 2011 when I got my first online sale.

    It was for $20. A Friday night. Australian buyer.

    This was the very first time, after 14 years of real-world experience, when a person who I had never met, had never talked to, bought on the strength of my forum posts and online copy.

    Think about how amazing this is. I still do. That feeling, when a buyer buys, never goes away.

    For targeting the audience, just go forward with good strategies, not with the places because here, strategies are matter first. In my view, for targeting the audience, you can choose some best promotional products and can handout among the audience. It is one of the best ideas to market your business. The promotional products are very helpful to increase your brand awareness as you can print your brand name or logo over these products easily.

    Talk to your audience
    Do surveys.
    Ask your friends and relatives what things they would look for if they were your potential customers.
    Find online forums that appeal to your audience.
    Research what your competitors are doing.
    Keep on top of what your industry buzz is about for successful target marketing.
